Our Commitment

HOINA strives to provide a wide range of opportunities and experiences for all our children. Some children require specialized medical care. Over the years, we have brought children to the United States for corrective surgery from polio.

Gayathri (pictured at left) has received five surgeries to repair damage caused by her father's abusive treatment. Chandra Sekhar (pictured at right) recently had heart surgery. In addition, we provide all our children with hands on experiences with the arts through music, dance, and art instruction. The boys' home contains many mosaic murals done by the boys. HOINA is planning a school and medical clinic on the boys' home property to serve the children and the surrounding rural community.
