Family Background:

 Mr. Ezekiel Raju and Bhgya were married in 1998. They had two sons, Joseph Sukumar and Jeevan Prasad. Mr. Ezekiel became a Christian in 2007 and his family sent him away. He moved his wife and sons to Chodavaram and worked in missions. When he became ill, and could no longer care for his family, so he approached HOINA and asked us to care for his sons.

 Jeevan Prasad is studying 7th standard at Little Angel School in Chadavaram. His favorite color is black, and his favorite animal is a sheep. He likes to play cricket, and would like to be an engineer when he is grown.

Family Background:

 Santosh Kumar’s parents were married in 1996. Mr. Jetti Naidu worked as an auto driver. They had two sons.  Santosh Kumar’s mother contracted tetanus. In 2008 his father was in a train accident and fractured his leg. His mother died from abdominal cancer in May 2009. His father moved the family to his native place of Gotham Village. In March 2011 he became sick with stomach pains and a month later died. The grandparents were very old, and lived in a thatched roof hut. They could not care for the boys, so they approached HOINA and asked us to care for their grandsons.

 Santosh Kumar is studying 5th standard in the MPUP School at Gotham. His favorite color is red, and his favorite animal is a deer. He likes to play kabaddi, and would like to be a policeman when he is grown.

 Trinadh’s parents were married in 1996. Mr. Jetti Naidu worked as an auto driver. They had two sons.  Trinadh’s mother contracted tetanus. Family Background:

 Sai Meghana’s parents were married in 1998. Her father worked as an auto rickshaw driver, and her mother sold fish at the Vizak market. Sai Meghana was born in 2000. Her sister, Dhana Lakshmi was born in 2004. Their father died of AIDS in October 2008. Their mother was also infected with HIV and left her children at her sister-in law’s. The sister-in-law, Parvathi, could not care for her own children and Sai Medhana and Dhana Lakshmi, so she approached HOINA and asked us to care for them.

 Sai Meghana’s  favorite animal is an elephant.  Her favorite color is red  She likes to play carom. She is studying 5th standard at Prahladapuram in Visakhaptnam, and would like to be an engineer when she is grown.

Family Background:

Sravanthi’s parents were married in 2005. Her father worked as driver helper in truck, and her mother worked in the fields for a daily wage. They lived in a thatched roof house. Sravanthi was born in 1998. Her father was an alcoholic, and was hospitalized for kidney failure. When they told his wife that they could not help him, she committed suicide by jumping into an open well. Her father died 4 days leter. A neighbor brought Sravanthi to HOINA and asked us to care for her.

Family Background:

Parvathi’s parents were married in 1996. Her father worked as an agricultural laborer. Parvathi was born in 1998. Her father dies of AIDS in May 2004. Parvathi and her mother went to live with her mother’s brother. Her mother died of AIDS in May 2011. Her uncle approached HOINA and asked us to care for Parvathi.

Parvathi’s  favorite animal is an elephant.  Her favorite color is pink.  She likes to skip. She is studying 9th standard at the ZP High School in Cheepurupalli, and would like to be a teacher when she is grown.

Iswarya has black eyes and is an active girl with a lovely smile.

Family Background: Esther’s parents were married in 2000, and had their first daughter Mounica in 2002.  After Esther was born in 2006, Esther’s father left and started a new family. Esther’s mother, Mariyamma, worked as a housemaid, but her wages were not enough to support the needs of her two daughters. Esther and Mounica were admitted to HOINA in 2009.

Esther has brown eyes and an adorable smile.
